Chrissy Metz wears red lace to Television Academy event in LA

Chrissy Metz stepped out Monday night in Beverly Hills for the Television Academy's Performers Peer Group Celebration -- and her fearless look was one of the boldest of the night. Pairing a fiery red lace dress with a matching lip, the "This Is Us" star reminded us she's not afraid to dominate the red carpet.

Red is one of Chrissy's go-to colors, as evidenced by several of her recent appearances. In June, she wore a cap-sleeved number alongside boyfriend Josh Stancil, who she met on set of "This Is Us":

And in May, the 36-year-old star rocked a deep red latex number that hit just above the knee:

Chrissy is currently up for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, competing against fan favorites like Millie Bobby Brown from "Stranger Things" and THandie Newton from "Westworld."

After the Emmys air on September 17, Chrissy will be back onscreen when "This Is Us" returns to NBC for season 2 on September 26.
