Clearly, people have rediscovered the hit as they prepare to throw their special glasses on and check out Monday's solar eclipse, which has been 99 years in the making.

"Total Eclipse of the Heart" was the first-best-selling single of 1983 and it hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, making Tyler the first and only Welsh singer to have a No. 1 single in the United States.

Tyler performed the song on Monday in honor of the big occasion.
