Kelly Ripa makes big reveal about the time Donald Trump was her co-host in 2006

Kelly Ripa is spilling details on that time Donald Trump guest co-hosted "Live!" with her.

It was over a decade ago that Ripa says that "Apprentice"-era Trump was "great as a co-host" of her show and that "he came out and was like, 'This is going to be the biggest-rated show you've had.'"

Ripa shared the details of Trump's appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" this week and actually revealed that Trump was talking about running for president all the way back then.

"You know what's crazy?" she told Meyers. "He was talking about running for president then. Then!"

"I remember actively having this conversation with him," she continued. "He said, 'Everybody wants me to run for president.' And I said, '...who?' He said, 'Everybody! I'm good with my business dealings, I'm a negotiator...' And I said, 'But why would you want to do that? Why would you give up your life, which is so good? You're not going to be able to go to Florida anymore, you're not going to be able to play golf every weekend...'"

"And I was wrong -- you can do that!" she said with a laugh.

A dumbfounded Meyers retorted by saying that "in theory [she was] right" in saying that, but Ripa admitted that Trump "proves you wrong every time."

"Now I realize that I was an idiot and none of that is true," she concluded.

So, there you have it: Donald Trump knew he was going to run for president over a decade ago, and Kelly Ripa knew it.
