Prince William & Kate Middleton: All the times the family coordinated outfits in summer 2017

Kate Middleton's flair for fashion never disappoints -- and lately, her husband has been the perfect accessory!

The Duchess of Cambridge always keeps us on our toes, freshening up her conservative looks with bold colors (occasionally even patterns!). And usually, Prince William doesn't factor in his wife's outfit when selecting his own. This has led to some pretty tragically mismatched looks. Like this one:

Royal visit to Germany - Day Two

Really, Wills -- taupe sport coat with a navy striped tie? There were countless other choices that would've beautifully complemented Kate's lovely yellow sundress!

But despite this July hiccup, most of summer 2017 has featured some excellent couples' coordination from the royal pair. In fact, wrapped up their Poland-Germany tour with their best dual look yet: Kate stole the show in a lilac flared number, but Will held his own with a perfectly-selected deep purple tie.

Later in the day, Princess Charlotte and Prince George joined their parents -- also wearing purples and pinks!

Check out the royal family's best coordinated looks of the summer in the slideshow below.

July 22: How lovely is Kate's lavender look?! Rather than try to perfectly match the unique color, Will nailed it in a complementary tie in the same color family.
July 21: Later in the day, Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined Mum & Dad in pastel tones of the same color scheme!
July 19: Pretty uncommon to see the Duchess showing her shoulders! Kate mixed things up in this flowing red maxi, and Will's coordination was just right with a red tie and not-too-dark navy suit.
July 20: Okay, their outfits totally clashed on this day, but they looked like a cute husband-wife team in these white lab coats.
July 20: Casual -- but still couple-y! The royal pair both chose shades of blue before they hopped into boats for a rowing race.
July 19: Too stunning for words. The Duke and Duchess were picture-perfect in blue. Kate layered a flared coat dress over a tight lace number, and Will paired a dark navy suit with an impeccably-selected blue tie.
July 19: Oh, did we mention that the littlest royals coordinated, too? Prince George and Princess Charlotte were mini-mes of their parents in lighter shades of blue.
July 18: It's tricky to pair with a pattern, but kudos to Will for taking a risk with his dotted tie. It's just playful enough to work with Kate's floral number -- and it appropriately pulls out just the right shade of greyish green.
July 17: We love that Will's outfit doesn't compete with Kate's. In a crisp white shirt and dark suit, he lets Kate's all-white ensemble does all the talking. But there was still some serious coordinating happening today...
July 17: ...with the whole family! Will's red tie suddenly makes much more sense alongside the kiddos, who also wore navy, white and red.
