All of Princess Diana's most glamorous vacations

Princess Diana definitely knew how to vacation right!

The world was Diana's playground and she chose to travel to the most exotic, enviable locations all over the world.

The late royal often spent many of her winters skiing in the Swiss Alps. While she was still married to Prince Charles, they spent numerous weekends skiing with other members of the royal family, including their children Harry and William.

A cute snapshot of Charles, Diana and the Duchess and Duke of York showed them having a blast on the slopes in Switzerland back in 1987. Even in a snowsuit, Diana looked as glamorous as ever.

During the summer months, Diana headed to tropical locations, with secluded spots like the British Virgin Islands and Saint Kitts stamped on her passport.

Of course, her beach style was totally flawless and iconic -- she rocked a swimsuit like no one could. During a 1989 getaway to the Virgin Islands with her boys, Princess Di flaunted her flawless figure in a magenta one-piece swimsuit as she frolicked in the waves. In another photo, she rocked an animal-print sundress while making sandcastles with her young kiddos.

Years later, in 1993, Diana showed off her body in an eye-catching bright orange bikini during a trip to the Caribbean. It's clear that sipping cocktails and sunbathing wasn't Diana's thing, as she was never seen sitting down in one place for too long. The blonde beauty loved running around and playing in the waves. At one point, cameras even caught her trying to catch a wave with a boogie board.

While most of Diana's vacation spots are free of annoying tourists, she couldn't resist Mickey Mouse's charm, so she took a trip to Disney World back in 1993. Diana was photographed with a big smile on her face while on the Splash Mountain ride, so we think she definitely enjoyed herself at the happiest place in the world!

The late royal died in a tragic car crash in August 1997 at the age of 36. Her sons, Prince Harry and William, have opened up about her heartbreaking passing as her 20th death anniversary nears. More on that in the video above.
