'Morning Joe' host Mika Brzezinski claps back at Donald Trump following Twitter tirade

A picture is worth a thousand words!

"Morning Joe" host Mika Brzezinski clapped back at Donald Trump in the most epic way following a pair of early morning tweets on Thursday from the president attacking her and co-host Joe Scarborough.

"I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore)," Trump wrote. "Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!"

Less than an hour later, Mika responded with one picture, boldly alluding to the size of Trump's hands:

The photo is the back of a Cheerios cereal box that shows an aerial view of a little girl playing with the cereal alongside the text that reads, "Made for little hands."

As expected, Twitter erupted with memes:

The "little hands" insult began during a 2016 speech by former GOP presidential candidate Marco Rubio. He told supporters that Trump always called him "little Marco."

"He is taller than me, he's like 6' 2", which is why I don't understand why his hands are the size of someone who is 5' 2"," Rubio joked. "Have you seen his hands? And you know what they say about men with small hands ..."

The crowd erupted.

" ...you can't trust them," Rubio said.

And clearly the insult was one that Trump took very personally. Shortly after Rubio's diss, he brought up the topic of his hands twice in a span of 24 hours:

During a rally he held up his hands and said, "Those hands can hit a golf ball 285 yards."

Later that day, he talked about his hands during a debate.

"Look at those hands," Trump said on the stage, holding up his hands to the audience. "Are they small hands? And he referred to my hands -- if they are small, something else must be small."

We're patiently waiting for Trump's response to Mika's tweet. So far, nothing yet. Your move, Trump.
