Hugh Jackman gushes about his wife of 21 years Deborra-Lee Furness

Hugh Jackman couldn't help but gush about his longtime love and wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, on a morning show this week.

The actor, who is promoting his latest film "The Greatest Showman" where he plays circuit giant P. T. Barnum, said the greatest person in his life is his wife of 21 years, Deb.

"I'm married to the greatest woman alive. She's amazing. We're best friends, and we share everything. She's smart," he gushed.

And how do they keep their marriage stronger than ever?

"We always said we'd never spend more than 2 weeks apart. Sometimes life and work does get crazy," he shared. "But we met on my first job when she was already a big star, I was a nobody. So we have shared everything, all the ups and downs, and always will."

The couple met on the set of Australian TV drama Correlli and married a year later in April 1996, and now have two adopted children.

Jackman hasn't been shy through the years about his love for Deb. He talked to Ellen DeGeneres about his love for his wife. "'She's the greatest thing that ever happened to me and it gets better and better."
