Steam singer Gary DeCarlo dies at 75 after battle with lung cancer

Gary DeCarlo, the lead singer of Steam, has died at the age of 75, TMZ reported.

DeCarlo was the lead singer of Gary and Steam, a band that rose to fame with their number one hit "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye." The song rose to additional fame when it was featured in the film, "Remember the Titans." The song originally topped the charts in 1969.

DeCarlo was reportedly battling lung cancer at the time of his death and was in hospice care when he passed away.

DeCarlo is survived by his wife.
