Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster renew their wedding vows on their 10th anniversary

Ten years flew by for Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster, and the pair celebrated their wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in front of 100 family and friends at their 18th-century estate in Essex.

During the intimate ceremony, both Rod and Penny, reportedly wore white and exchanged vows before hosting a massive dinner in a tent. The pair originally married on June 16, 2007.

The "Maggie May" rocker, 72, and his model wife's love has lasted the test of time because of their strong commitment to each other. Penny, 46, told Hello magazine that their vow renewal was definitely different than the original day.

"Being able to reflect on those ten years, and say those words to one another and still know we mean them is important. This felt more special," she said. "You get married with the hope that you'll be together; when we renewed our vows, we said them not with just hope, but with a reassurance. Along with hope, there is also faith, love and bringing all the family together."

The couple met in 1999 while Rod was on tour. Penny asked Rod if she could take photos while he was on tour after she changed her career path from modeling to photography.

It looks like they'll be taking snapshots of life together for a very long time!
