'America's Got Talent' contestant Johnny Manuel hits it out the park with Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing': Watch

No one does Whitney Houston like, well, Whitney. But Johnny Manuel sure comes close.

The Flint Michigan, native absolutely nailed his rendition of Whitney's Bodyguard classic "I Have Nothing" when he appeared on America's Got Talent. It's been a long and bumpy road for Manuel, who was signed to a label in his teens and was once toured with *NSYNC. "As a kid I thought that I was going to take off and see the stars and obviously it didn't happen that way," he responded to a question from judge Simon Cowell.

With his dream still alive, what does Manuel hope to achieve from his appearance on the TV talent quest? "I hope what can happen is that I am finally able to be who I am and present myself and my music to the world," he said. And he managed to pull that off in less than four minutes and the singer earned a standing ovation from almost everyone in the room. "Someone sign this man NOW," screams on instant fan on the official YouTube thread. Check out the performance below.
