MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' rips Trump for tweeting: 'He can't help himself' (Video)

The panel on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" ripped President Trump for his continuous use of Twitter on Monday morning, with Mika Brzezinski saying, "He can't help himself."

The morning show played a clip of Senator Lindsey Graham saying it is frustrating to see the president continue to back himself into corners simply by tweeting, when he could be clear by remaining quit.

"It's really causing a problem for the presidency," Brzezinski said.

Co-host Joe Scarborough said, "It's also hurting him legally," and it would be extremely difficult to prove collusion with Russia but his tweets and comments aren't helping his case.

"Just be quiet and maybe this thing will blow over," Scarborough said.

Scarborough said that while many Republicans don't like Trump, they do like his policies and want them to pass.

"But they're so frustrated, he just can't be controlled and he can't get out of his own way," Scarborough said.

Scarborough said Trump should simply move on and focus on rebuilding the economy, but it's not happening before playing a clip of the president's Rose Garden press conference when he denied much of James Comey's testimony last week.

"Keep your mouth shut. Grow jobs. Pass the tax bill," Scarborough said.
