Fifth Harmony throws midnight hotel party with Gucci Mane in 'Down' video: Watch

Leave it to Fifth Harmony to make a generic roadside motel feel sexy. The group dropped the neon-lit video for their single "Down" on Thursday morning (June 8) and the James Larese-directed clip keeps it simple, focusing on their dance moves and smoldering camera looks.

After exiting their shiny black SUV, the ladies strut to their respective rooms where they pose on the bed while singing the song's slinky verses as Larese cuts to footage of them working it out in the moodily-lit parking lot.

Gucci Mane pops up around two minutes into the late night rendezvous, chilling on some steps to drop his feature as the women huddle up in the pool for a midnight swim. "Down" is the first single from the group's upcoming album. Check out the video below:

During a recent visit to Billboard, 5H opened up about their third effort as a group, which is due out later this year. "We're really experimenting with a lot of different sounds," explained Ally Brooke Hernandez, who also says that Fifth Harmony's new album includes a mix of "strong pop melodies" as well as "dark urban sounds."

"We [co-]wrote more than half of our album," added Normani Kordei. "It means more."
