Liam Payne drops music video for 'Strip That Down'

Liam Payne released the music video for his debut solo track "Strip That Down" on Friday (June 2).

Though the former One Direction member never gave into boy band standards of choreographed dances with his previous group, the solo artist shows off his moves in black and white in his stylized, new video. Suddenly, as the video for his hip-hop influenced single transitions from black and white to color, we find ourselves in Payne's wild, new neon world of bright lights, dancing, and a visit from the song's featured artist, Migos rapper Quavo.

In "Strip That Down," Payne reveals his new identity as a solo artist, singing "I used to be in 1D (now I'm out, free)" -- and reveling in it.
