Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg attend Washington Post news meeting for 'Pentagon Papers' prep

Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg sat in on a Washington Post morning news meeting Thursday to prep for their upcoming film, Pentagon Papers.

A picture of the two Hollywood icons, who have collaborated multiple times before, was posted to social media by Post reporter David Nakamura.

Hanks can clearly been seen in the photo, but it seems someone is unintentionally blocking Spielberg.

Hanks and Meryl Streep will star in the Spielberg film about the Post's role in publishing the infamous study about America's involvement in the Vietnam War.

Hanks will play legendary Post editor Ben Bradlee, and Streep will play publisher Kay Graham.
