'The Voice' finale: Poll finds that 77% think Lauren Duski should have won

After months of stiff competition, "The Voice" crowned contestant Chris Blue as its season 12 champion -- but according to one poll, many viewers aren't pleased.

Gold Derby, a popular website where betting experts weigh in on major Hollywood competitions like the Oscars and Golden Globes, conducted a poll following the May 23 "Voice" finale. The respondents were not experts, but everyday viewers, and the results are pretty wild: A whopping 77% of respondents believe competitors Lauren Duski was robbed.

"It's a shame when the clear winner does not win," said one commenter. Added another, "Chris Blue may have won but I predict Lauren will outsell and be a bigger star."

A third commenter offered something of a conspiracy theory: "Someone did not want Blake to be a 6 time winner," he alleged. Duski was a member of Team Blake, while Blue was on Team Alicia. Blue's victory was the first ever for Alicia Keys' team.

While the percentage is pretty head-turning, as with all election results, it's all about whether or not you actually vote -- so next time, "Voice" viewers, make your own voice heard!
