Ariana Grande's opening act Victoria Monét breaks silence on Manchester bombing

Ariana Grande's opening act on her Dangerous Woman Tour, Victoria Monét, has spoken out about the devastating bombing that occurred after their concert on Monday night in Manchester, England.

The singer took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to share her confusion over the senseless act of violence that left at least 22 people dead and more than 100 people injured.

"I wish i could say that I am ok, but I am not," she wrote. "Safe? Yes, but heartbroken that loved ones who came to have the night of their lives ended up losing them. They weren't safe."

"I will never understand this hate!" she continued. "This was supposed to be their safe place! I'm so. hurt and frustrated I don't know how to handle this and I can't smile and I feel useless I'm sorry. Lord help me find strength. I'm going to stay off social media."

"I just hope you know that I love you all," she finished. "Please send all your prayers up high for Manchester.'

Monét's statement came just before Grande also shared her reaction to the bombing.

"Broken," Grande tweeted to her fans. "From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don't have words."
