Newlyweds Pippa Middleton and James Matthews stop in LAX while en route to honeymoon

Pippa takes LA! Briefly, anyway.

The Duchess of Cambridge's sister, who wed James Matthews Saturday in a beautiful English ceremony, jetted off to her honeymoon after the celebrations wrapped, stopping for a layover in Los Angeles' LAX. Pippa looked impressively put-together in a tweed Kate Spade blazer (white, of course) and crisp jeans, but both she and James looked a bit weary -- understandable, since their afterparty stretched into Sunday morning!

Although millions swooned over her star-studded affair, Pippa proved she's no diva: She was seen chatting with fellow travelers as she and her new husband made their way through customs, according to E! News.

The couple, traveling with a bodyguard, is heading to the Pacific Islands for an undisclosed amount of time. Their final destination? Tetiaroa, a blue-lagooned paradise of coral islets.

Pippa, 33, and hedge fund manager James, 41, wed at St. Mark's Church in Berkshire. The bride wore a custom lace Giles Deacon gown with cap sleeves and a high neck. Her niece and nephew Prince George and Princess Charlotte served as pageboy and bridesmaid, under close watch by mom Kate Middleton.

Enjoy your travels, you two!
