After 13 seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, it's pretty clear that mom-ager extraordinaire Kris Jenner would do just about anything for her kids—including, apparently, carry one of their children. On Sunday night's episode of the E! reality series, the mom of six told her daughter Kim Kardashian that she'd be willing to be surrogate for Kim's and husband Kanye West's third child.
The whole discussion began after the attorney of an anonymous married couple sent Kris a letter offering to buy her eggs because the partners had been unable to conceive naturally. The letter cited Jenner's "impressive track record in producing successful and outstanding offspring."
Kourtney Kardashian, however, was quick to give her mom a reality check. "It's definitely a compliment that somebody wants to purchase your eggs, but she's 61," Kourtney said. "I don't think she has any eggs. That is absolutely ridiculous."
The family's Dr. Wong later confirmed that Kris's eggs were no longer viable to be donated, but she would be able to carry a baby to term as a surrogate. Kim's own struggles with complications during pregnancy have been well-documented on KUWTK. In a previous episode from this season of the series, Kim revealed that she does want to have a third child, though doctors warned that it would not be safe for her to become pregnant again and she should consider surrogacy.
When Jenner told Kim and Kourtney the results of her own doctor's appointment, Kim asked if her mom would consider being her surrogate.
"Do you want to carry mine?" Kim asked Kris.
"If I really thought that I could carry it for you and it would be born OK, I would do it in two seconds," Kris said. "I really would."
But it looks like Kim has some choices when it comes to a surrogate. Kourtney, who's already mom to three kids, was quick to chime in that she has already offered to be her sister's surrogate.
"I already offered myself," Kourtney said. "So, don't act like you're the only Mother Teresa in here!"
