Miley Cyrus reveals the reason behind her two-toned hair
Billboard's current cover star, Miley Cyrus, might be shocking people with her sudden toned-down attitude, but that doesn't mean she's not the same old Miley when discussing her two-toned hair.
On Long Island, NY's 106.1 BLI radio talk show The Cooper Lawrence Show, Cyrus revealed why she decided to let her locks, which are well-known for consistently changing, grow out into a very blunt ombre style. "I like blond and brown — now I don't have to choose," the pop star said. "For chicks, you've gotta look a certain way all the time, and I just don't wanna do that."

According to Clairol's Color Director, James Corbett, who tweeted at Cooper Lawrence, the style is called "resecessionista hair color which has now become a trend."
Well then, mystery solved!
