Selena Gomez teases new song 'Bad Liar'

Selena Gomez is adding to an excitingweek in pop, as she teased a snippet of a new song presumed to be titled "Bad Liar."

On Tuesday May 16, the singer uploaded a quick Instagram video of streaking lines running on the monitor of a 90s-style Panasonic VCR TV -- a light blinks, possibly indicating that a tape is being rewound. The background audio features a synth-pop guitar melody with rhythmic hand claps to correspond.

While there's no vocals included in the teasers, Gomez captioned her TV post, "#BadLiar 5.18," insinuating that the song is coming May 18, just two days after posting the snippet. She also posted pictures of what looks like lipstick on a mirror, seemingly including lyrics to the new track, including "Trying not to think about you," "Trying to play it coy" and "Trying to distract myself."

"Bad Liar" will follow up Gomez's collaboration with Kygo, "It Ain't Me," which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Check out her "Bad Liar" teases below.
