Remember Stephanie from 'Saturday Night Fever'? Here's what she looks like today

It's true: December 2017 will mark 40 years since "Saturday Night Fever" first premiered. And while the tabloids still love John Travolta, we haven't seen quite as much of Karen Lynn Gorney!

Gorney played Stephanie, the saucy dancer who eventually agrees to pair up with Travolta's Tony for the big dance competition. (At first, she totally shuts him down -- but then has a change of heart.) The duo made film history with the smash hit, still regarded as one of the biggest films of the 20th century.

Now 72, Gorney still maintains a steady acting career: She appeared on "Law & Order" in the '90s, "The Sopranos" in 2006, and has continued to perform in a number of independent films. Take a look at her through the years:
