'Teen Mom' star Farrah Abraham hits 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards in traditional sari

Farrah Abraham turned heads Sunday night at the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards when she stepped out in a traditional Indian Sari.

The "Teen Mom" star, who hails from Iowa and is of Italian, Syrian and Danish descent, donned the gold and pink two-piece ensemble which screamed Bollywood and definitely steered away from her normal Jessica Rabbit-style ensembles.

Abraham's bright dress from Taal Boutique & Bridal was adorned with lots of sparkles and she teamed it with long necklaces, a gold headpiece, henna tattoos, bracelets and some seriously smoky eyes. She polished by wearing her long blond locks down.

The look definitely immediately grabbed the Internet's attention and sparked some backlash from fans, but the 25-year-old reality star told TooFab she wasn't worried about how people might react to the look.

Abraham told TooFab she "wanted to bring culture to the red carpet" in this look and wasn't worried "at all" about cultural appropriation backlash from the Internet. "I think this will inspire others to embrace new cultures and have good experiences."

She added the look made her feel "freaking amazing, Bollywood and sexy!"

Meanwhile, the Internet had this to say:
