Prince William steals the show in sailor's outfit at Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's 1986 wedding

Stop the cuteness!

Prince George will follow in his dad's footsteps when he walks down the aisle as a page boy at Aunt Pippa Middleton's wedding in just a few weeks.

A 4-year-old Prince William took on the same role when his uncle, Prince Andrew, tied the knot with Sarah Ferguson in 1986. William looked way too adorable in his sailor's outfit with a matching hat complete with a chin strap!

Of course, the young prince's ability to pay attention was non-existent as he had trouble getting through the 45-minute event. He made several silly faces, got squirmy and even yawned in boredom (or maybe because it was nap time) at one point.

His cousins Peter and Zara Phillips (now Tindall), as well as Laura Fellowes, the daughter of Princess Diana's sister Jane Fellowes, were also part of the wedding party.

After sitting through the ceremony on his best behavior, the little tyke got the best reward ever! William went on a carriage ride through London (where he showed off his best royal wave) and spent the afternoon running around Buckingham Palace.

At the end of the day, the young prince took pictures with his family. He got the special honor of being next to his grandma, ultimately answering who Queen Elizabeth's favorite grandchild is ...
