Michael Mantenuto, who played Jack O'Callahan in Disney's "Miracle," died Monday. He was 35.

The actor was found dead by the Des Moines Police Department in Washington state inside his car. The coroner told TMZ that he committed suicide by shooting himself.

"Those of you that knew Mike will remember him for his passionate love for his family and his commitment to the health of the force," the press release said.

Michael, a former University of Maine hockey player, landed the role in the 2004 Disney flick about the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team. He then went on to act in two other movies -- "Surfer, Dude" and "Dirtbags" -- and then enlisted in the army shortly after.
