Caitlyn Jenner is making some shocking claims about her time on Keeping Up With the Kardashians as well as her marriage to Kris Jenner.
During a SiriusXM Town Hall on Radio Andy, the 67-year-old reality star admitted to host Andy Cohen that she was both surprised and upset at Kris' adverse reaction to her memoir, The Secrets of My Life. On Sunday's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the 61--year-old momager claimed she was not aware of Caitlyn's gender identity struggle at the beginning of their marriage, though Caitlyn says she was honest with Kris.
"I had been on hormones for four-and-a-half years at that point, when I met her.Yeah, it was very noticeable," she told Cohen on Thursday. "Did I downplay it? I'm sure I did, but I was honest because I had just gone through six years of hell and I wanted to get back into life. And I loved her, she was great."
When asked if she thought Kris overreacted to the book in the scene shown on KUWTK, Caitlyn responded, "Have you watched the show? There's a lot of tears going on there. I think her concerns with the book are legitimate."
"I had 23 great years with her, she's a great person. We have wonderful children, so why even go there? I don't want to play that game in the media," she added. Caitlyn then said of Kris' reaction, "That really ticked me off, because that separates me from my children."
Cohen did, however, point out the parts in Caitlyn's book where she refers to Kris as controlling and claims that her ex-wife was against her identifying publicly as a woman. "Harsh truths, they're my truths. I gotta be honest, this is not a book about her," she said. "If [Kris] wants to write a book, she can write her own book and tell her side of the story. This is how I perceive things."
Not backing down, Caitlyn continued, "My book is honest and it's my story. I'm sorry she feels that way. I just don't want her to alienate me from my children."
Cohen also noted that he thought when the former Olympian was on KUWTK, he saw her as a sort of "punching bag" on the show. When asked if that bothered her, Caitlyn -- who identified as Bruce Jenner up until May 2015 -- admitted, "It used to bother me, because a lot of people used to say things online."
Caitlyn went on to claim that she didn't see any money from filming the wildly popular reality series, even when she divorced Kris in 2015. "[The money] all kind of went into the house and this and that," Caitlyn said, adding that she never got a "big pay" after her divorce and only received a check for her half of the house that she owned with Kris.
That being said, Caitlyn claimed she "never had a low point" while filming the show, "until the other day when Kris said some of that stuff."
"There are some really good things that come out of [doing a reality show.] It forces you to deal with issues, because you have to shoot it," she added. "It forces you to sit down with your kids, and deal with a lot of things."
Cohen inquired if she ever resents KUWTK, to which Caitlyn responded, "Well, eventually I did leave."
As for her relationship with the other Kardashian women, Caitlyn claimed that she no longer has a relationship with her former stepdaughter, Khloe Kardashian. "She doesn't want to talk to me," she told Cohen. "She hasn't talked to me in, like, two years."
"That's sad," Caitlyn continued. "I was very, very close to Khloe. I mean, I had 23 years of raising her. I met Khloe when she was five years old."
While Caitlyn claims to have not been in contact with Khloe for some time now, she did appear in a confrontational scene with her on the April 9 episode of KUWTK.
