Erin Moran's brother has taken to social media to slam his sister's former "Happy Days" costar Scott Baio after the actor made comments falsely suggesting that "drugs or drink" may have played a role in her death.
"Get on your knees and pray I never run into you," Tony Moran tweeted on Tuesday.
In another tweet, Moran alleged that Baio's wife contacted him to apologize on her husband's behalf instead of picking up the phone himself.
Also on Tuesday, Tony Moran went on Facebook to give Baio a piece of his mind, explaining that Baio and Erin Moran had a "very very brief fling" but she dumped him because he was "more like a lil girl and not a man" and because she told him he was "tiny."
In a follow-up Facebook post, he further elaborated on Baio's wife calling him to apologize instead of Baio himself.

"F—- coward! I've never met her," he wrote. "I do know the scumbag piece of s— Scott Baio tho. He was a piece of s— back then and still is. He had his wife contact me! Very apologetic and s—. Doesn't surprise me. It's too late you motherf—- pieces of s—! Go back under the rock you crawled out from under. There isn't one word I want to hear you speak. Makes me sick to my stomach."
On Monday, Baio told WABC radio, "For me, you do drugs or drink, you're gonna die," but the official cause of death was later confirmed on Monday as "complications of stage 4 cancer."
The 56-year-old actor also said he was a "little shocked but not completely shocked that this happened" after news broke Saturday that Moran had died in her in Indiana home at the age of 56.
However, on Tuesday, the actor, who starred opposite Moran on spinoff hit "Joanie Loves Chachi" as well, backtracked on his comments, saying that he now truly understands "the meaning of 'Fake News.'"

"I was asked ONLY about Erin's troubled past due to drug & alcohol abuse," he wrote on Facebook on Monday. "I was still upset and said I felt that living that kind of a lifestyle will catch up with you and nothing good would come of it. THIS WAS BEFORE THE CAUSE OF DEATH WAS ANNOUNCED STATING STAGE 4 CANCER."
He also said that the media wants to "paint a different picture of me and what really happened," and begged people to "stop assuming the worse in me."
A representative for Baio has not yet responded to TheWrap's request for comment.
