Billy Bush sings about returning to TV in strange Instagram video

Disgraced former Today show personality Billy Bush appears desperate to get back on the air in a bizarre Instagram video in which he sings about returning to TV while getting a haircut.

"I'm Billy B, trying to get back on TV," he sang in the video posted Wednesday. "My hair is long and flat and makes me look fat and I can't be — I'm Billy B."

His Instagram profile reads: "Reconstructed and Ready."

Bush has been off-the-air since October after a lewd 2005 hot mic conversation between him and then-Apprentice host Donald Trump leaked during the 2016 presidential campaign.

The tape led to Bush's firing from the Today show.

"I am deeply grateful for the conversations I've had with my daughters, and for all of the support from family, friends and colleagues," Bush said in a statement at the time. "I look forward to what lies ahead."

On the 2005 tape, Trump admitted he once tried to seduce Nancy O'Dell, who was then Bush's co-host on Access Hollywood and is now the co-host of Entertainment Tonight.

"I'll admit it. I did try and f*** her. She was married. I moved on her very heavily. I moved on her like a b****. But I couldn't get there. And she was married," he said. "And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything."

In a subsequent apology, Trump characterized the comments as "locker room" talk.
