Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk have revealed the name of their first child

Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk recently welcomed what we can only assume is a beautiful baby. (Pictures of the little one haven't been shared yet.) But now, the baby's gender and name have both been revealed—and naturally, the first-time parents selected a beautiful moniker for their brand-new little one.

Cooper, 42, and Shayk, 31, are now the proud parents of a little girl, E! News reports. Their daughter, who was born two weeks ago at the end of March, is named Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper, according to E!. "They are both extremely thrilled and feel so blessed," a source told E! about the new parents.

The pretty pick "Lea" means "weary or meadow," according to Nameberry. It can also be used as a variation of Lee or Leah. The name has consistently been ranked in the top 1,000 girls names, Nameberry reports, most recently coming in at No. 738 (though, uh, we could totally see that spiking very soon). Seine is, obviously, the major waterway that runs through the city of Paris—but it also comes from a Latin word meaning "goddess of the river." The Academy Award-nominated actor and the Russian supermodel also opted to give their child both of their last names, Shayk and Cooper.

Lea is the first child for Cooper and Shayk, who have been linked since May 2015 when they were first spotted canoodling throughout New York City. News broke that Shayk was pregnant in November 2016, after she modeled in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show during her second trimester. The couple has also been rumored to be engaged, as Shayk has been wearing an exceptionally sparkly ring on that particular finger since December.
