'Criminal Minds' officially renewed for 13th season

CBS has confirmed that "Criminal Minds" will be back for a 13th season this fall -- officially ending worried fans' concerns that the show was coming to a close. Last month, the title was notably missing from a list of the network's renewed shows.

In March it was revealed that fan favorite Shemar Moore would return for the season 12 finale. The highly-anticipated episode airs Wednesday, May 10.

"Criminal Minds" will be CBS' 19th returning series this year. Among the other surviving shows are "Kevin Can Wait," "Blue Bloods," and "Survivor." Other shows don't yet know their fate, including "2 Broke Girls" and "The Odd Couple."
