Pamela Anderson fuels dating rumors with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange

Pamela Anderson's latest blog post is further fueling dating rumors with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

The former "Baywatch" star is rumored to be dating the 45-year-old who has been living under political asylum for almost five years at London's Ecuadorian Embassy.

In a lengthy blog post about the controversial figure (which also touches on the topics of female empowerment and women "faking orgasms"), Pamela revealed how she really feels about Assange:

"My relationship with Julian -- it's no secret. He is one of my favorite people and he might be the most famous, most politicized refugee of our time. Famous for being persecuted is not a position of power but a position of vulnerability. I am concerned," she wrote.

Pamela added: "Julian is a human being who is extremely empathetic and cares deeply about the world. And because of his work he has made some powerful enemies in a few countries, America especially, by exposing them."

The movie star has remained very vague about her relationship with Assange in the past. However, her frequent visits to the embassy -- at least six in the past seven months -- isn't doing anything to stop the speculation.

During an interview with a Swedish television talk show on Friday, the animal rights activist revealed she has been spending some significant time with Assange lately, but his current situation made dating "a little bit difficult."

However, she did seem hopeful of a romantic relationship in the future -- once he's free:

"Let's see what happens when he's free. But you know I spend probably more time with him than any other man socially, which is very odd," Anderson said.
