Has Liza Minnelli fallen in love with a gay man again?

According to an explosive Radar Online report, the icon is not only in love with the man, but he is also married to his longtime partner.

"Liza has left New York and all her friends behind after almost 70 years to be with a gay piano player," a source told Radar. "She's moved to L.A. and since she's been gone her friends in New York have seen little of Liza."

The man in question is Michael Feinstein, who is married to his longtime partner, Terrence Flannery. Rob Shuter reported exclusively that Feinstein's marriage "has not stopped Liza from wanting to be with Michael."

The latest development in the 71-year-old's love life has come as a shock to her friends, who are allegedly wondering "what magical powers Michael [has] over the icon."

Her infatuation with Feinstein wouldn't be her first romance with an openly gay man, either. Minnelli's first marriage was to entertainer Peter Allen, whom she was married to from 1967 until they divorced in 1974.

"No, no, of course I didn't," she once told The Advocate when asked if she knew Allen was gay. "People say things, and somebody said, 'I think he's...' And I asked him about it, and he said that yes, there was that, but that he loved me. And I loved him, and we decided to try it, and we got married, and we tried so hard, but then it didn't work. But we stayed close, always, always, and of course I was with him at the end."

Minnelli has been married three other times, as well: She was married to producer Jack Haley, Jr. from 1974-1979, stage manager Mark Gero from 1979-1992 and promoter David Gest from 2002 until 2007 (they separated in 2003).
