Food Network star Ina Garten makes massive reveal on Instagram

Ina Garten just announced some exciting news!

The Food Network stalwart took to Instagram late last week to reveal that she's currently filming a brand new show: "Cook Like a Pro," set to debut on The Food Network in mid-May.

Garten, who has been starring on "Barefoot Contessa: Back to Basics" since 2002, posted a photo with Lidey Hueck, who does recipe testing and social media for Garten.

"Fun today filming with @lideylikes for my new TV series, 'Cook Like a Pro' on @foodnetwork," she captioned the cute pic. "Airing mid-May; stay tuned!! #CookLikeAPro#barefootcontessa"

She recently elaborated on the premise of the show in an interview with the "Today" show.

"[The show] is a little more fine-grained than my other show, which is more like my friends are coming for dinner," Garten explained. "I want to teach people techniques instead of recipes. I just want to answer all of people's questions on how to cook."

"People are growing up without anyone to show them how to cook, and millennials want to cook for their families and have dinner parties. They're hungry not just for the nourishment of cooking but also the community of it," she continued. "I just want to show people how to sauté a pepper, chop an onion and cut a cauliflower so that it won't get all over your kitchen. A few simple tips can take something to a professional level."

The announcement comes a few months after Ina Garten released her best-selling cook book, "Cooking For Jeffrey," late last year.

"Cook Like a Pro" will debut on The Food Network in May.
