Ben Affleck is returning to his normal routine.

Just over a week after the Justice League star revealed he had completed rehab for alcohol addiction, the 44-year-old actor was spotted out and about in Santa Monica, California, on Monday, looking relaxed and refreshed.

Sporting some scruff, Affleck was casual for the outing. He wore a black jacket over a powder blue Evel Knievel graphic T-shirt, which he paired with dark-wash jeans and sneakers.

"Ben is doing great," a source close to the actor told ET on Wednesday. "He is still very taken aback by the outpouring of support since making his very personal announcement."

"As always, he's enjoying spending time with his children and friends, and working," the source added.

Affleck revealed via Facebook earlier this month that he sought out treatment in order to "live life to the fullest" and "be the best father" he could be to his three children -- Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5 -- who he shares with Jennifer Garner.

"I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I've dealt with in the past and will continue to confront," he shared. "I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step.

"I'm lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I've done the work I set out to do," he continued. "This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery."
