Battle of the Hollywood divas!

A report claims that Reese Witherspoon is "furious" with her "Big Little Lies" co-star Nicole Kidman over promotion of their new show. Witherspoon is allegedly not too pleased after Kidman failed to promote the HBO series before its debut in February and instead took much of her time talking about her Oscar-nominated film "Lion."

"Reese is furious that Nicole hasn't done more to support Big Little Lies. All she's talked about in interviews is 'Lion.' Had Reese known that Nicole would put the show so far on the backburner, she would have cast some random," a source said.

During filming of the series, which took place in Monterey, California, there were also "some tense arguments" between the two actresses.

Nicole Kidman through the years:

"If the show doesn't make any waves or get better ratings, it will probably mark the end of Reese and Nicole's joint ventures."

The HBO hit, a mini series about three mothers of first graders whose lives unravel to the point of murder, has received phenomenal ratings since its debut in February. The premiere crushed ratings, with a record 2.1 million viewers.

Shailene Woodley also stars alongside the Hollywood heavyweights.

Tension between Reese and Nicole allegedly reached an all-time high at the 2017 Oscars. Kidman, who was nominated for Best Actress, allegedly told people to keep Witherspoon away from her.

Reese Witherspoon through the years:

"You could cut tension with a knife," one insider claimed.

The blonde beauties weren't spotted together at the glitzy affair in late February, further fueling rumors that there's trouble behind-the-scenes.

However, a representative close to the two revealed all is well: "Everyone is thrilled to the back teeth with 'Big Little Lies.' They're great friends, they love each other and they love the way each other works."

Just two months ago, Kidman couldn't stop raving about the Draper James owner at the TCAs in California: "We're very, very close friends. We're able to talk about everything."
