"As we continue our journey as a family and rebuild our lives, we are delighted to share with you that we are expecting a new baby boy later this year," the statement read. "Beauty comes from ashes and we cannot wait to see and kiss the face of this sweet new boy!"

The post, titled "Duggar Family Announcement," also alluded to the couple's well-documented marital troubles. Back in 2015, an Ashley Madison information leak revealed that Josh had been cheating on Anna. In the same year that his infidelity was revealed, Josh was once again under fire after claims surfaced that he had molested underage girls, including some of his little sisters.

Both scandals rocked the "19 Kids and Counting" stars' relationship, and Josh eventually spent six months in a rehab facility.

"For nearly the last two years, we have quietly worked to save our marriage, focus on our children, and rebuild our lives together as a family," they explained. "Doing so is never easy after a breach of trust. We've learned that a life of faith and rebuilding a life together is simply done one day at a time."

The TLC veterans already share four children together: Mackynzie, 7, Michael, 5, Marcus, 3, and Meredith, 19 months. They once said that they will have "as many children as God will give them."
