Adele says she has a secret Twitter account that she hides from her management
Adele won't let her team stop her from using social media.
The Grammy winner recently revealed to concertgoers that she has a secret Twitter account that she's been hiding from her management.
"I was looking on Twitter last night," the "Hello" singer told audiences during her show at The BBC in Brisbane, according to The Sun. "They don't know I have a secret account, well obviously they do now because I said that. By 'they,' I mean my management."
Adele then shared that she is denied access to her own public account because she's "quite mouthy."
"I say the wrong thing a lot of the time," explained the songstress. "So they took that privilege away from me."
In November 2015, she told BBC that her posts now have to go through two sets of people and have to be signed off before they are posted, although she still writes her own tweets.
"I mean, I'm not a drinker any more, but when Twitter first came out I was, like, drunk tweeting, and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times," she said. "So my management decided that you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone, but they're all my tweets. No one writes my tweets. They just post them for me."
Recently, Adele revealed she makes her way through crowds in a box to stay undetected from her fans, given that there is no underground tunnel allowing her to travel to the stage for her concerts.
"How I get to this stage makes me so sweaty, I'm drenched." she said, adding that she has an iPad in there to keep herself entertained.
