Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, backed Hewitt up saying that the rumor is "not possible" because Hewitt met Diana when Harry was a toddler.

Hewitt and Diana began their affair after meeting in 1986. He was her horseback riding instructor. It ended after he served as a tank commander in the 1991 Gulf War and the affair made headlines. Hewitt currently lives far out of the public eye but said he does not regret his relationship.

"No, I don't regret that. I regret some of the things that have been caused by that but not that at all. No way," he said. "I think she was quite easy to fall in love with, really, so I think I can be forgiven for that."
