Kim Kardashian shares harrowing details of Paris robbery: 'I saw the gun'

As promised before Sunday night's season premiere, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" will address Kim Kardashian's shocking Paris robbery head-on in its second episode.

In a sneak peek that aired on Sunday night (which you can watch above in full), the reality TV star shares harrowing details of the October 2016 event in which masked gunmen broke into her apartment, held her at gunpoint and robbed her of $10 million in jewelry.

"They asked for money, I said I don't have any money," she explains in a confessional interview for the show. "They dragged me out into the hallway on top of the stairs, and that's when I saw the gun -- like, clear as day -- and I was kind of looking at the gun and looking down at the stairs..."

The clip then cuts to Kardashian recounting the story to her sisters Kourtney and Khloe as they listen in horror.

"And I was like, 'I have a split-second in my mind to make this quick decision.' Am I going to run down the stairs and either be, like, shot in the back," she says as she suddenly gets choked up and starts crying. "It makes me so upset to think about it, but either they're going to shoot me in the back or, if I make it and the elevator does not open in time or the stairs are locked, then I'm f-cked. There's no way out."

The "split-second decision" that Kardashian remembers was not one that was previously known about to the public, and there are sure to be more revelations about the robbery as viewers watch Kardashian deal with the aftermath of the traumatic moment throughout the rest of the thirteenth season of "KUWTK."

French authorities arrested 17 people earlier this year in connection to the crime.

Following the robbery, Kardashian ceased posting on any of her social media accounts for the rest of the year, but returned to Instagram and Twitter earlier this year.
