Charlie Rose returns to 'CBS This Morning' to the delight of co-anchors, gives health update

The CBS This Morning gang is together again!

On Monday morning, Charlie Rose returned to the morning show after undergoing heart-valve replacement surgery a month ago. "Thanks to everybody for hanging in there as I went through this. It came out really good," Rose exclaimed as he took his seat at the table alongside co-anchors Gayle King and Norah O'Donnell. "I'm pleased to be back!"

Rose also gave viewers an update in regard to his health. "The interesting thing is that the surgeons say to me, 'Everything, everything that we wanted to do came out even better than we expected,'" he said. "'So we're very excited about what it's going to be in terms of how you can perform.'"

"It's always good when you come back and people are happy to see you, as opposed to, 'Oh, he's back,'" King quipped. "We're very happy!"
