Angelina Jolie got matching tattoo with ex Brad Pitt months before split: Pic

Angelina Jolie will always have tattoos to commemorate her relationship with Brad Pitt.

Before Jolie and Pitt separated in September, the two got tattooed together by Ajarn noo Kanpai, a former monk in Thailand, in February 2016. In this photo, the three intricate "magical" Sak Yant tattoos on her back are shown in great detail.

Pitt, 53, also got a Buddhist symbol inked on the left side of his stomach by Kanpai, a source says. Interestingly enough, the same ink was used for both her and Pitt's tattoos "to symbolically bind them as husband and wife," just months before their split.

Pitt accompanied Jolie while she was on a break from directing her film, First They Killed My Father, as they got the Sak Yant tattoos, which are believed to give the wearer magic powers associated with healing, luck, strength, and protection against evil. Jolie was inked using steel rods mounted with a surgical steel needle.

The 41-year-old actress has been tattooed by Kanpai before, getting a large tiger on her back in 2004.
