Food Network's "Pioneer Woman" is in hot water for a segment that ridiculed a dish of Asian wings.

Ree Drummond was called out by Lynn Chen and Lisa Lee, the founders of the Thick Dumpling Skin website and podcast, after they happened to come across a clip they deemed racially insensitive. The scene caught their attention while it was rerunning on the Food Network.

In the segment, which appears to have been pre-planned, Drummond offers her husband and his friends a plate of spicy Asian hot wings.

"Alright, guys, spicy Asian hot wings," she says as she placed a pan full of delicious looking wings in front of them. "Just for you!"

The men weren't hesitant to hide their disgust, saying, "What is that?! [...] I don't trust them!"

Their reactions led to Drummond pulling out a dish of American wings and saying, "I'm just kidding, guys. I wouldn't do that to you."

Chen and Lee were quick to point out that television -- particularly Food Network -- is lacking any authentic Asian chefs. They criticized "The Pioneer Woman" episode for openly mocking the culture's cuisine.

Other viewers took to Twitter in agreement with Chen and Lee. One user wrote, "Being anti-Asian is not a joke." Another said, "the 'JUST KIDDING GUYS HERE'S THE WHITE PEOPLE CHICKEN WINGS' at the end is really something." One user even questioned her cable subscription, asking, "Why should I pay for this insult?"

Neither Ree Drummond or The Food Network have responded to the controversy.
