What it's like inside a glittering and glamorous Oscar party

Updated

Ever wondered what it's like to be inside one of those glam Oscar parties, rubbing elbows with celebrities in one of the most lavish Hollywood hills homes? We got the chance to attend one of those glittering parties and got an inside look on how some celebs commemorated the Academy Awards.

Circus Magazine hosted a luxurious black-tie party at the Absolut Elyx house where celebrities like Paris Hilton, Skrillex, and the award-winning director for "Moonlight," Barry Jenkins, danced and mingled amongst friends.

Once you set foot inside the swanky home, you're completely transported to a different world where even Gatsby himself could've partied. Copper accents, flamingo wallpaper and a glittering disco ball adorned the house complete with intricate art and knick-knacks that lined the walls of the mansion.

And while there was a loud gasp from the crowd as "La La Land" was wrongfully named Best Picture, guests cheered when the "Moonlight" cast appeared on stage.

After the award show was over, celebrities got down to the sounds of DJ Ruckus and DJ Zen. See images from the glam party sponsored by Volvo and Vaseline:
