Scarlett Johansson shuts down Ryan Seacrest during 2017 Oscars interview: 'What a ridiculous question!'
Scarlett Johansson wasn't having it on the 2017 Oscars red carpet.
The 32-year-old actress, who was slated to present at the star-studded affair on Sunday night, got into an awkward moment with E! host Ryan Seacrest.
"Do you actually wear the shoes you're wearing tonight for the rehearsal?" Seacrest asked the "Ghost in the Shell" star.
Johansson snapped back, making it clear that she wasn't amused by his vapid inquiry: "What a ridiculous question!"
Ryan, who was visibly taken aback by her response, tried to bounce back from the cringeworthy situation:
"This morning, I read it," he said, alluding to a Los Angeles Times report that claimed fellow actress Halle Berry practiced walking in her heels before the big show.

Scarlett brought along agent Joe Machota as her date for the night after announcing last month that she's separating from her husband of two years, Romain Dauriac. Though she adorned herself with plenty of jewels last night, she didn't wear a wedding ring.
The blonde beauty wore a pink-and-purple feminine floral frock from Alaia that she accessorized with a black-and-silver belt and Fred Leighton jewelry. While Scarlett's beauty shone on the red carpet, the same can't be said for her mismatched ensemble.
The "Lucy" star made the "Worst Dressed" list, along with Kelly Ripa and Ginnifer Goodwin.
