Ryan Gosling's sister, Mandi, steals the spotlight at 2017 Oscars

Ryan Gosling is usually the one to steal the show on any red carpet, but not this time around ...

The "La La Land" star arrived at the 2017 Academy Awards on Sunday night without his longtime girlfriend Eva Mendes, but he brought the next best person as his date -- his sister.

Ryan looked dapper in a Gucci tuxedo, but it was his eldest sister, Mandi, who stole the show on what was supposed to be his big night!

Mandi, whose identity was virtually unknown at the time, definitely commanded attention in a cleavage-bearing sequined dress while her long blonde tresses were styled in a deep side part with glamorous waves. Unsurprisingly, social media went wild over her presence, confirming after some sleuthing that she is indeed his (hot) sibling:

She looked like she was having the time of her life, even chatting with singer Justin Timberlake and actor Viggo Mortensen at different points in the night.

Ryan opted to walk the red carpet solo, but it looks people only needed a few short glimpses of Mandi during the show to fall in love with her.

And though Ryan went home without an Oscars statue, losing to Casey Affleck in the Best Actor category, we're sure he had everyone beat with the best date of the night.
