In Memoriam: Jen Aniston gets choked up at Oscars, pays tribute to Bill Paxton

Jennifer Aniston couldn't contain her emotions as she introduced the In Memoriam tribute on Sunday at the 89th annual Academy Awards. The "Friends" star opened about those we've lost this year and how every one of them touched the lives of Hollywood's community and the greater world with their artistry.

Aniston then took the time to pay tribute to Bill Paxton, who was not included in the In Memoriam video due to his sudden passing over Oscars weekend at the age of 61. As Aniston talked about how he was a beloved member of the community, she got visibly choked up.

Aniston quickly passed the baton to Sara Bareilles who gave a moving performance of "Both Sides Now" from Joni Mitchell.

Big stars like Mary Tyler Moore, Carrie Fisher, Gene Wilder, John Hurt and more were given recognition.
