Emma Stone makes political statement with Planned Parenthood pin at 2017 Oscars

Updated

Emma Stone is standing with Planned Parenthood.

The "La La Land" actress, who won Best Actress at the 2017 Academy Awards, hit the red carpet on Sunday night in a fringed Givenchy gold gown.

While her metallic ensemble is certainly quite a looker, that wasn't the most important part of her outfit -- many missed the small golden pin in the shape of Planned Parenthood's logo that was affixed to her dress.

The 28-year-old actress completed her look with a wavy hairstyle and bold red lip.

The accessory, though very subtle, was just one of the many ways celebrities made political statements with their outfits.

Fellow actress Dakota Johnson also sported the women's organization logo on her clutch.

A handful of other stars sported blue ribbons in support of the ACLU following Trump's controversial executive order banning citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States.
