Beyonce cancels Coachella appearance -- but there's a catch!

Beyoncé has cancelled her planned headlining gig at Coachella. Instead, she'll headline the 2018 festival.

The "Formation" singer had been initially announced as a highly-anticipated headliner for the music festival, which occurs over two weekends in April, back in January. But skepticism that she would appear crept in when she revealed a few weeks later that she was pregnant -- with twins.

Though the singer initially said that she still planned on performing, fans were still unsure that she would be able to pull through.

"Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival," the festival's official statement read. "However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding. Stay tuned for more information."

Of course, members of the BeyHive that purchased tickets to the festival just to see Beyoncé will not be pleased. It's unclear where or not they'll be able to receive refunds for their tickets.
