Hillary Clinton seen out to dinner with 'SNL' star Kate McKinnon

Now this is a dinner date we would've loved to crash.

Hillary Clinton was spotted out to dinner Wednesday with "Saturday Night Live" star Kate McKinnon, who famously impersonated Clinton each week throughout her 2016 presidential run. The two dined with another female friend at Italian restaurant Orso in Manhattan's Theatre District.

Although the details of their chat are (tragically) unknown, onlookers didn't suspect a serious business meeting: "Lots of laughter emanated from their table," a source told Page Six.

After wrapping up their meals, Clinton reportedly headed to the nearby Palace Theater to watch Glenn Close star in Broadway's "Sunset Boulevard."

One lucky fan managed to meet both powerhouse women and immediately took to Twitter to share her glee:

Since Clinton has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since her November loss, McKinnon's taken to playing White House counselor Kellyanne Conwayin a series of scathing sketches.

The "SNL"-borne friendship is sure to irk President Donald Trump, who hasn't been shy in expressing his distaste for the NBC staple. While he's known to lash out against the show via Twitter whenever the show lampoons his administration, he stayed silent this weekend during Alec Baldwin's hosting gig.
