Carlos Santana insults Beyonce, then clarifies on Facebook

Carlos Santana threw major shade at Beyonce alluding to her not being a "real" singer.

Beyonce lost 'Album of The Year' to Adele at Sunday's 59th Grammy Awards and the Beyhive swarmed to her defense.

However, 10 time Grammy award winner Santana told the Australian Associated Press, "I think that Adele won because she can sing, sing."

Ouch! Does Santana know some big secret the rest of the world doesn't? He did perform with the famous Formation singer during the 2003 Super Bowl.

He went on to say, "with all respect to our sister Beyonce is very beautiful to look at and it's more like modeling kind of music - she's not a singer singer, with all respect to her."

Throwing the word respect around while you diss someone is still dissing them, but don't expect to see a Beyonce-Santana showdown just yet.

He was quick to clarify his comments on Facebook: My intent was to congratulate Adele on her amazing night at the Grammys. My comment about Beyonce was regretfully taken out of context. I have the utmost respect for her as an artist and a person.
