Report: Sir Tom Jones is romantically involved with Priscilla Presley
Sparks are flying between Priscilla Presley and Sir Tom Jones!
Elvis Presley's ex-wife, 71, is reportedly romantically involved with the 76-year-old singer. The news comes a year after the tragic death of Jones' wife Linda.
"'Tom and Priscilla are courting. There is a spark between them but they are taking it slowly. It really is early days but they get on so well," a source told The Sun.
Another source added that Priscilla has been a source of "amazing support" following Tom's "difficult year" with the passing of his wife.
However, both have kept mum about their romance. The actor played it cool when he was asked about his reported ladylove.
"We have been friends for a long time. She's a lovely lady. We do enjoy our nights out together," Jones said.
The two were recently spotted having an intimate dinner date in West Hollywood, California. The Welsh singer's white Rolls Royce pulled up at celeb hotspot Craig's eatery and they wore their very best ensembles. Jones looked dapper in a matching striped suit with blue suede shoes while Presley wore a chic LBD with a camel-colored coat draped over.
Both Tom and Priscilla have had quite the love lives through the years, but this newfound romance comes at a complete surprise.
Presley was married to the late King of Rock from 1967 to 1973 after meeting at a party in Germany when she was only 14 years old in 1959. Elvis was quite smitten with her from the very first time they laid eyes on each other.
He proposed shortly before Christmas in 1966 and they got married at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. Their only child, Lisa Marie, was born exactly nine months after their wedding in 1968.
The two had quite a tumultuous marriage, marked by Elvis' infidelity and Priscilla's affair with Mike Stone, a karate instructor she met at one of her late husband's concerts.
After they officially divorced in 1973, Priscilla never remarried but she was in a long relationship with Italian screenwriter-director Marco Garibaldi. They lived together for 22 years and share one son together, Navarone.
On the other hand, Jones and his late wife, Linda, were married from 1957 until her death in 2016. The two stayed together for quite some time despite his publicly known infidelity. He even claimed that he slept with as many as 250 groupies in one year at the height of his career.
